Working together

a) Purchasing services.

1) People felt that the quality of service was not thought about properly. Just the price. People should not be forced into residential care just because it was cheaper.

b) Including people with learning difficulties.

1) There are lots of things to do to properly include self-advocacy groups and other people with learning difficulties. Good examples show how they can work together on many issues, evaluations, consultations, accessible information, training, lay assessors and so on.

2) The lengthy time taken to sort things out such as money or services between agencies like health and social services or housing must be cut.
