Family Carers

1) The use of individual's benefits to supplement the family income against the individual's wishes must be stopped.

2) People with learning difficulties caring for their parent need to be recognised and appropriately supported.

3) Some people preferred living at home because of worries about moving and not getting proper support in the future.

4) Family carers needed to be properly supported with equipment for instance with separated parents both having equipment supplied so people can stay with both.
